The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: Knowledge Development ( online, independent study, or in a classroom) to understand the basic fundamentals of scuba diving. Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills. Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore. In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you'll learn how to use basic scuba equipment, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, and tank. The equipment you'll carry varies, depending on whether you'll be diving in tropical, temperate, or cold water.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 7 days before the course start. Within 7 days, 50% fee. Within 48 hours, no refund. Minimum age 12; must complete medical questionnaire (PADI form). Do not fly within 24 hours after the final dive. Wear swimsuit, rash guard, water shoes. Gear, materials, lunches included. Course runs across 4 consecutive days; weather may push by 1 day.
