Enjoy an exclusive guided tour for you and your family or friends. Would you prefer a more personal experience with the animals? We offer private tours at 2:00 pm each day. These tours include all the animals as described and seen in the public tour. But your private tour will be a VIP Exclusive experience that can be tailored to your preferences. Private tours are two hours long and always available in English and Spanish. German and French tours are offered when available. The JRC Sanctuary is closed to the public during the VIP tours, so you can enjoy a private experience with your own knowledgable, professional tour guide. You will be able to appreciate the scope of our work and see the amazing variety of animals at your own pace in a relaxing atmosphere. Do you have a special interest in a specific animal? Let us know, and we will focus on this! Extra VIP secret for Private Tours! The animals are typically more active in the afternoon, so you are more likely to spot them in the enclosures. Last, but not least, you will see our veterinary clinic from outside and you will meet one of the members of the veterinary staff.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour (private booking). Within 48 hours, no refund. No age restriction; family-friendly. Wear closed-toe shoes per sanctuary rules. Bring water and a hat — outdoor enclosures are partly shaded. Tours run rain or shine. No flash photography, no feeding, no touching animals. Private slots subject to biologist availability — confirmation usually within 4 hours.
